what change actually looks like on a Tuesday afternoon

how we'll work together

Therapy is totally about you: the way you view the world, process your experiences, and navigate your internal landscape.

This is your unique phenomenology.

To create meaningful change, we must first deeply understand this blueprint. My practice doesn't force you into a rigid, one-size-fits-all box. Instead, I use a bespoke, relational, and integrative framework that dynamically combines four distinct clinical pillars to suit your individual history, identity, and goals.

Together, we move beyond textbook coping strategies into deep emotional processing, uncovering root causes to build a genuinely secure, lasting foundation for your future.

the four clinical pillars

1. the foundation

We firstly establish a dependable, down-to-earth space where you can speak openly without the pressure to perform or fear of judgment. Grounded in Person-Centred values, the foundation of our work focuses on psychological safety. By validating your lived experience without pathologising you, we'll lower the baseline volume of constant anxieties so your system can finally experience what it feels like to be completely heard.

2. the analytical core

We'll look beneath the surface of your conscious thoughts to explore the root causes of long-standing distress, trauma, or emotional legacies. By integrating Psychodynamic and Attachment theories, we'll unpack early life blueprints and repeating relationship patterns. This helps us make sense of the unconscious defences keeping you trapped in frustrating loops of overthinking, anxiety, or self-sabotage.

3. the external lens

Using Systemic theory, we explore how your wider environment impacts your internal world. We look at the subtle, wearing pressures of your workplace, family dynamics, cultural expectations, or the exhausting friction of navigating neurodiverse fatigue within a world that isn't designed for it. Mapping these external forces helps resolve chronic stress, identity confusion, and  burnout.

4. the practical toolkit

Focussing on the here-and-now, we translate psychological insight into daily resilience. Drawing from CBT and Gestalt frameworks, we'll build a tailored, active toolkit designed for your real life. This involves somatic grounding, practical boundary-setting, and nervous system mapping tools to interrupt addictive cycles, process low mood, and regulate your daily emotional baseline.
