how we work together
Therapy is entirely about you, the way you view the world, and your own internal world.
This is known as phenomenology.
In order for us to create meaningful change, I must first understand your phenomenology.
My practice uses a bespoke, relational and integrative framework that dynamically combines four distinct pillars to suit your individual history and goals.
Together, we move from initial ground-level support into deep processing and practical, lasting change.
1
the foundation
We begin by establishing a dependable, down-to-earth space where you can speak openly without judgment. Rooted in Person-Centred values, this initial stage is about helping you step out of day-to-day survival mode, getting to know each other, lowering the volume on anxiety, and feeling genuinely heard.
2
the analytical core
Here, we look beneath the surface at the root causes of your distress or trauma. Integrating Psychodynamic and Attachment theories, we explore early life experiences, childhood attachment injuries, and repeating relationship patterns to make sense of the unconscious defences holding you back today.
3
the external lens
We do not live in a vacuum. Using Systemic theory, this phase examines how your wider environment, including your workplace, family dynamics, culture, and societal pressures, impacts your internal nervous system, contributing to chronic stress, identity friction, or burnout.
4
the practical toolkit
The final pillar focuses on the here-and-now. Drawing from CBT and Gestalt frameworks, we build a tailored, active toolkit of somatic grounding, nervous system mapping, and cognitive tools designed to restore your emotional regulation and daily resilience.
